Soul Forest

Not to far of from kishin valley their is a forest where some kishin choose to live,it is vast and has plaety of life

After a full day of traveling Konda and his partner finally came upon their destination,the Soul Forest. Konda sat down and put his back up against a tree panting as he said "Lets rest here Mystogan..."

"Eh sleep finally." Mystogan replies. He jumps up onto one of the trees higher branches. I'll sleep here he said. With out waiting for a reply he layed down balanced in the center of the branch. It was fairly comfy up here. He decided to cloak his presence so that while asleep now one would be able to sense him.

"Alright buddy ill keep watch,their could be kishin here and we cant take chances" he said as his partner began to fall asleep in the tree.Konda sat their against the base of the tree and looked up into the sky.He wondered if they would find anything out there.

Unable to sleep Mystogan stands up and jumps from the tree limb to another tree limb he wanted to be alone to think for a bit. He kept going like such gaining speed but not merging with the shadow. He was to tired to focus. Tired period.

Konda had sat there for some time and soon fell asleep unaware that his partner had left,as Konda fell asleep his partner was going somewhere and Konda had no idea he had left.

There was a loud russtleing in the bushes nearby, but even louder was the gasping pants of one scared weak kenshin as he emerges from it. The odd looking thing trips over a thick root that wasn't there before. He cries out as he lands on his stomach and claws at the forest's floor. "Help me!" He says as the root grabs his foot and then goes tight. Ripping from the ground it shows itself to be very long and coming from the east. Slowly it starts to pull the poor creature towards whatever was on the other end of it. There was some more russleing in the distance.

Konda quickly woke up and looked over to the side. "What the?" he quickly jumped up and cut the root with a large knife he had hidden on his leg. He grabbed the kishin and jumped onto a large rock and held it by its neck. "Who are you?" he said glaring at the small kishin.

As the root is cut a green slim splurts out of it like blood that covered the disturbed grass. There is then a very loud roar that sounded like it were just around the corner. The russtling gets louder.

The kenshin in his hand chokes out the words. "No.. Time. Run." His eyes ere full of fear but they were looking in the direction of the roar.

Konda rolled his eyes as he said "Hold on tight then. He continued to clasp the kishin as he jumped into the tree leaping branch to branch until he got into a clear grassy field and threw the kishin to the floor. "Explain yourself before I end your life" he said as he twirled a kunai knife

The dead beat kenshin scrambles around on the dirt and grasss as he fights gravity to get up, the perfect picture of terrifide. He gets up and circles around Konda nervously, but his head was always turned away, like he was expecting something to come get him. "I, I, I, I.." He repeats himself like a song. "I am Yoko.." He finally spits out, but doesn't stop walking in circles around him.

There is another roar that causes a flood of birds to launch up into the sky and Yoko to duck and call out in fear.

Konda watches the birds flutter. He watched as the little kishin ran around him..he began to grow irritated and threw a knife right infront of the kishin. "Your going to have to tell me more than that if you wanna live,...what was that thing you were running from?"

Yoko stops dead in his tracks with the blade threat. Konda suddenly had his full attention. But the Kenshinnervously played with his hands as he stood up and looked around a bit more. "The wild life." He says. Acting as if her might be halucinating. "It lives, it lives, it lives.. TRAP!" He says then throws his hands towards Rain. "Don't go in there, its a Trap!" He repeats again.

"Hmm.looks like theres only on way to save you then.." as he said this he picked up the kishin and threw him as far as he could out f the forest. After that he clapped his hands off together. "Hopefully he can find his way home..maybe I should have killed him..oh well."

Yoko screams pethetically as he's hurled out of the area.

There some russtling in the trees again, then it stops.

Konda maks himself aware of his surroundings as he picks his kunai back up and looked around walking through the grassland.

The wind blows the grass around gently, all is still, somewhere in the very very background Yoko is getting himself in yet another situation.

Then something grabs Konda by the leg and trips him before starting to drag him towards the forest around his field.

Konda quickly falls to the ground and starts to be pulled into the forest. "damn it..fine you wanna play we can play!" As he said that he gribbed his kunai and stabbed it into the vine that was pulling him.

There is a loud screaching roar of pain as the vine lets him go and pulls back. For a second Konda might think he had scared it off, but then a large shadow hovers over the ground.

In the next second there was a loud crash and the earth quaked! Now before him stood an over grown Venus Fly Trap. The opening of its mouth was dark and there was some kind of sap that spilled out of it. there was the cut off root and the bleeding vine, and two other long appendages for grabbing and pulling. There was another set however, they dropped with heavy buds that resembled that of an unopen rose.

"Help, someone help me..." A womans tender voice sounds out from the mouth of the beast. "Please!" She begs.

Konda began to smile as he saw the large creature before him. He jumped far back and stared it down. "After I kill you..im going to take your soul and feed it to my weapon..". Konda began to hear a womans voice from inside the mouth of the large plant. "Does it really think itd fall for that...?" he thought to himself. "Might as well play along.." he ran toward the creature at a high speed gripping his knife in his hand. "all I have to d is cut open a holeon the bottem of its mouth..if there IS anyone in there they could just crawl out..." he thought..yeah that's what ill do.. He quickly advanced toward the creature being areful to watch for vines and roots.

The monster allows it to get close without fighting it. Then the voice came again. "Noble men are so stupid!" Her voice less tender and sweet. The four vines sweep around behind Konda as the monster gaps its mouth and face slams the ground where Konda was.

Konda smirked as he sped up then jumped to his hands spinning his body in a sweeping motion as his feet began to spark with electricity kicking the venus fly trap in the side of the mouth as hard as he could,sending lighting through the kick as he made contact. "Lightning dragon tail kick!"

"Oh!" The female voice cried out in pain as electricity sparked up the beasts body, which tilts to one side. "You little!" She cries out and the two bud things come around and down, trying to crush him instead.

Konda then pushed off his hands and launched himself up avoiding the buds. "I hope that's not all you got!" he did a couple back flips as he gracefully landed away from the beast. "Get ready.." he chuckled a little bit as static formed around Kondas right hand,it continued to grow until his hand was completely covered in lightning. Konda then ran toward the beast at an even faster speed than before. Weaving side to side until he got close enough to give a strong punch to the beast.

"Fine, if you want to play games, let's play my favorite!" Venus, bcause I'm tired of not having a name for her, says just before his attack.

Thick towers of earth shoot up into the air as Konda ran, each one getting closer until finally one bursts under his feat just as he was about to step on it. It send him flying back and into a forest of root shaped rocks. The ground continued to rumble as more and more rocks shot up around him. What he couldn't see was that it was forming a maze. In places the stone was so tight that paper couldn't go through it, and in others it was a clear path.

Eventually the rumbling stopped and he could hear her voice again. "Gaia's Maze.." It echoes as she started to laugh a sultry laugh. "If you can get out a live... Maybe I'll let you live." It echoed in a way that he could not pinpoint her, though it was un likely she moved from where she was.
