Room 513 - The President Suite

Selena lives in the eastern most corner of the building, and one of the biggest rooms of the hotel. The President Suite.

Selena had money, connections, and connections to more money. But she didn't tell Karcenin that, if only to get the best deal she could out of a monthly rent. Regardless of what she told the owner, she was still paying too much for the place.

The size of the suite was enormous, big enough to do what ever she wanted to do with it. And she has done what she wanted with it.

Walking in you were greeted with a large spacious livingroom. Which had been painted a rust-colored red. The carpet was a coffee color which matched the wooden baseboards all round.

There was a cream colored sofa facing two similar chairs with a cherrywood coffeetable between the set. On top of the table was a black and white teaset on top of silver platter.

The rest of the room was mostly decorations. A large painting of a black rose with a white background with unrealated words behind it. Some steel statuets making a statement while collecting dust. A thick bookshelf on the wall and a magazine rack near the coffeetable filled with material about music, the world, treasure, and an occasional romance novel.

To the right was a black, silver, and white kitchen section, seperated from the livingroom by white tiles. There was an island with a set of black painted stools and a light above it. The various foggy glass cabniets held her black plateware, polished silver pots and pans, and her white cermeics for baking. Which she had a clear cookie jar with a silver lid filled with different kinds of cookies next to her coffeepot on the counter.

Beyond that to the right was a closet for her extra sheets, blankets, and even space for some extra towel.

To the left of the living area was a short hallway in which could be seen both a door to a bathroom, and straight into the bedroom.

The bedroom had charcol walls and a black and white with a dash of color themed bedspread on the fullsized bed that could be seen through the door. The lamp with a pattern that mimiced the skeleton of a dead tree lighting up the spread. The edge of a desk could be seen as well but not very well.

The bathroom was a combination of dark blue and light blue. All of course in the decorations of the place.

Selena steps into the area past the livingroom, which was a bare hardwood floor with a large window-door that leads out to the balcony. The walls were the same brick color but the only furniture that existed was the shiney black grand piano, and two stands. One was in the center of the area and held a violin, the other was off to one side and didn't hold anything but was ment to hold a sheet music.

Selena picks up the violin and moves out onto the balcony so that she could be out in the fresh air. The wind picks up her bangs just as she leaves the protective walls of her home. She takes a deep breath and lifts the intrument into position on her right, then lifts the bow and places it against the stings.

As she plays, the strings hum a beautiful and very practiced piece. The rumor is that she plays to calm the insane in the Valley, for she always plays her violin on the bocony at a certain time everyday. She doesn't play the same piece everyday thought, only furthering the idea. For an insane mind would get bored rather quickly of it if it was the same song everyday.

Selena plays two songs on her violin before pulling away and looking out at the horizon. Maybe It was time to get out of the house. She carries her instrument back into her house and places it in its precious spot. She takes the time to check the locks and then leaves her home and starts to head towards the Dunes.
