Training yard.

The Kenshin heard the splash.

-Water?

He smiled and looked at the direction.

-Gotta go~

He dissapeared and went there, he saw Light and salutated him.

-Hi hi Friend-san!

Light turns around to see the man in red. "hey Etherian your welcome in if you want." Light bounces of the pool wall and flees under the water. Light then does a under water handstand. Light then starts to lay back on the pool wall and look at the moon that huffs and puffs. "so where have you been Etherian?"

-Everywhere~

He replied, laying in the border, looking at the moon as well.

-This place is not as secure as the Old Master told me, i've sensed a lot of intruders just today~

Etherian said with a laid back voice.

-Might also explain, why Mr Death wants my help...

On that last line his voice turned very serious, completely out of his character. He turned to Light and continued.

-He didnt count with my power getting this nerfed though... i bet that...

Faces looked at his own hands, yes, he sensed, once cleansed, his power was reduced a lot, the power of a Kisshin fed by 10 years of hunting souls.

-How do you train... Light? How do you become strong in this place?

Light turns to Etherian and says "i train here with my Mercy." Light points to his sword laying next to his Crimson gauntlet. "I also train with my miester Sev. yesterday we did Soul Resonance, and I swing at the targets and I spar Dormammu sometimes to help ourselves when our miesters aren't here. You can hold the sword if you want.? Light turns and does backward flips under the water. "maybe you could spar someone to get you stronger and i like to think instead of going in and hitting the opponent."

-Im more the assassin type~

He shrugged.

-But yeah, i can hold myself on close quarters.

He pulled out a knife and made it spin on his hand. The edge of the weapon whistled as it cut the wind.

-I wouldnt mind join you in a couple of spars~

"Really? You don't mind sparring me?" Light jumps out of the pool and walks into the hut and changes his clothes coming out several minutes later putting his gauntlet on. "well i guess i can fight for a while i'm a little relaxed. but only for a little bit. have to go to school tomorrow." Light stretches and prepares. "well i'm ready." Light grins.

-Sure!

Instead of going on defensive mode, he inspected the water, the lenght of the pool, the distance they were, the lenght of his sword. The battle had begun, yet unusually, Etherian was too relaxed, examining the place, and also, waiting for the move of his opponent.

Light stomped his foot and makes a wall in front of Etherian. "who is touched my their opponent wins!" Light said loudly dashing for Etherian with his index finger extended out. Light jumps over the wall planning to touch the man in red's head. Light then trips over his own technique thus falling face down.

He looked at Light jumping the wall, his thoughts were "The knive.... would finish it too soon.... the threads...." He moved his fingers slightly "Nah, wouldnt be fun when this is a game... Hmmmm..... i think i got it!"
Etherian moved aside, dodging the predictable move and backflipped, getting right in the corner of the pool, observing from a prudent distance.
What he did?
In front of him, a Mirage clone was standing, covering the real body that was crouching.
The clone of Faces winked at Light, to taunt him.

The Chase sits in a tree looking out at the Training yard. "Bullfrog!Where is Dorm?We gotta be training for the mission in order to collect some souls to make him a death scythe." The Chase would think eating a green apple from the tree."Sour,nasty!"She would then become upset.

Light turned to Etherian while on the ground. Light flips in the air and jumps of the wall heading directly for the corner of the pool. Light does a striking kick heading for Ethreian's abdomen. "We'll see who taunts who." Light said while he attempted to kick Etheria.

Etherian smiled and used Cloak on his own body, deflecting the light from himself and turning invisible.
He rolled aside to not make a sound, as Light passed right through the Mirage, that turned to face him, and dashed forward as for attack him with an open palm strike to the back of his neck.
"Lets see if he falls for it....." He thought, observing the battle between him and the Mirage. "This game gives me too many advantages, i will just use this opportunity to test the young one".

Light kicks and punches at the mirage but nothing will do. "Why aren't my attacks working?" Light stomps and makes a wall to hit the mirage. "Maybe this will work.

The Mirage walked forward, and pressed it's hands against the wall, like it was really being stopped.
The real Etherian grinned... "Lets push it a lil' more forward~"
Light would see a horrid image, the fake Etherian he was watching started melting. It melt into the flesh, it melt into the bones and finally turned into a crimson gross and boiling liquid, that slipped from bellow the wall, and for the first time, he would hear something from it, a scary moan, of someone agonizing.
When the liquid reached the other side, a big mouth openned, with sharp teeth, and the bubbles turned into yellow eyes. The Mirage openned it's big mouth and said.

-Found you~

Then, the Mirage pool formed tentacles with scythes on the points from it's body, tentacles that moved against the Weapon, like trying to tear the body of Light apart.
Faces was watching this, with a big grin on his mouth, a very big creepy grin.

Light evades Etherian's impostor and slash at the Mirage. "wait a minute you aren't the real Etherian at all." Light then shoots a beam of light at them. If the beam hits them hopefully Lights plans will work. "Light then touches the ground and creates very heavy full set of armor. Light then enchants the mercy with light. Light slashes at the now blob. while searching for his real target.

The blob actually reacted, dodging the beam but it wasnt able to do it with the slash, that cut the mirage in half.
The pool stood quite, the moans stopped and it stopped boiling, but then, after a couple of silent seconds, the liquid started moving again, and both halfs took the form of of a crouching man, Etherian, clapping at the same time and smiling as they stood up.

-Now now~

They said at the same time. showing their pointy teeth.

-Can you guess who is the real?

The Mirages fixed their glasses, as Light saw the shadow of something falling. If he looked up, he would see another Etherian falling, with knives on his hands amiming to the neck.

Light makes a coffin for him self to hide in. Light leaves the door open and rolls out of the back of the coffin sealing so it can't open and light kicks the coffin towards the two Etherians and Light slashes the air causing light streaks go towards the two Etherians and does it again but afterwards he leapes in the air preparing to slashes at the Etherian that was planning to attack. "I think you're the one." Light strikes at his opponent several times.

The twin Etherians in front of him vanished. The one in top gasped as a strike storm got released against him... but it dissapeared too.

-A trap within a trap~

Light heard those words, and felt a pointy object touching the back of his neck. Was the real Etherian, that took the opportunity when Light was attacking, to move behind him, cancel the Cloak and pull out a knife to touch the neck of his opponent.

-A couple of observations...

He muttered, keeping that menacing position, and with that serious voice he spoke back then.

-First, you didnt wonder why i appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the sky? Second, take a time to observe before attacking, rushing in is proper of front liners, and they dont last long... And third...

He chuckled.

-You could use a red coat, your clothes are too old fashioned~

He put the knife back to his coat and extended his hand to shake it friendly.

"aww no fair i didn't even think of that...but that was a nice spar! You win Etherian." Light shakes The crimson man's hand. "Were you serious about me getting new clothes?"light checking his red gauntlet and his clunky black battle boots. Light then crouches and sends his magical armor away. "well i guess i should get some new stuff. well bye Etherian see you around!" Light runs off to his soul shaped house.

-Hmmm.....

Etherian saw him leave, and noticed how much energy he used.

-I need something to eaaaat and somewhere to sleeeeeeep~

He yawned walked his way out of the training grounds, looking for somewhere with souls and a bed.

Seven sat down near the edge of the Training Yard, a book in hand as usual, and was silently reading it. A small cup of tea sitting on the ground next to her, the steam radiating from it clawed its way upwards before disappearing completely out of sight. The Meister ran a hand through her blue/green hair, that was in its usual half-up style, with a few tiny braids through out it.

-Turn the page...

She heard from behind, Etherian was reading as well. He was leaving to find something to do, but found this girl so interested on the book that he thought it should be something important.

Seven jolted forwards, spilling her cup of tea as she jumped to her feet, twirling around on a dime, flinging the book as she twirled at the intruder. Her eyes wide as she realized it was just Etherian, though she had never actually met him personally, "Oh...sorry," she said with a rueful smile.

-What are you reading?

He asked with a smile, regardless the girl's reaction. He was honestly curious about why that girl was so immersed into a book.

"Oh um, The History of Soul Resonance..."she said picking the book back up off the ground, giving it a few pats to clear off any dirt or dust it had collected from its fall.
