Back Alley in the City

With a flurry Mystogan lands on the pavement and entered the barrier. "Thanks" he told the witch there. The old guy just nodded. Mystogan thought to himself, welcome home. Here no one was a danger to him and he was left alone. Here he would stay for a bit. He sat down on the pavement and propped himself up on a wall to rest.

Konda continued to look for his partner even though it meant cutting class."Damn it where did he go.." he murmured to himself.Konda ran around looking for Mystogan in dark places where he was known to hang out.Soon he got to andark alley where he saw a man."You there! Have you seen my friend?" he described Mysto hoping that would help.

Mystogan heard Konda's voice. What a pain he thought to himself, but he didn't give it much thought the old man wouldn't let him in. As he expected the old man replied back curtly "No haven't seen anyone all day" Mystogan smiled. He couldnt ask for a more loyal guy then Carter.

Konda grew impatient and desperate to find his friend,he then grabbed the man by the collar and pushed him against the wall as he said."Listen up old man if i find out that your lieing it will be the end of your existence!" he looked at him with his red eyes full of anger.

"Enough" Mystogan snapped from behind Konda he held a hand up palm open forming a scythe in his hand the blade by Konda's neck. "Release him or you lose your head."

Konda knew that voice but he didnt move."Mysto what the hell do you think your doing?" he questioned

"I'm protecting someone important to me, now let him down." He looks at the old man "Sorry about this Carter" The old man just frowns contemplating fighting back, no he though he would lose this fight. He would leave this to Mystogan

"Someone important?" he said lowely.He then looked up at the frightened old man and let him down."Im truly sorry".He then turned around and looked at Mysto and said. "You wanna put that thing down and tell me whats bugging you so much? We are partners we should be able to rely on eachother"

Mystogan looked at Carter and nodded to him." It will be fine, go" he said.
With that he lower his hand and clenched it making the scythe fade away.
"I come here to be alone. It's were i grew up. I was taught the basics here and learned way more later, im stronger then you know as a result, I never go full force. I'm tired of holding back always. Today I was about to go for real and then poof nada. And you my partner nearly get your head taken off, because you held back on them and on me. That's not a partnership"

"You expect me to go all out on a little girl?What if he had killed her?We would have been exiled and kicked out of the academy!"

"You didn't have to hold out to the point of recklessness though" he thought briefly "I have a life inside and outside the academy, you only know one side of this coin."

"Well tell me mr.coin whats on the other side?"

"tails" Mystogan grins
"You should have expected that one, In all seriousness though, i spent the first four years of my life living here. I don't remember my parents, Carter new them and raised me." he paused briefly "He taught me some basic skills, he taught me to look after myself."

Konda smiled and said "Well you dont have to look after yourself anymore dummy ! You got me,ill always have your back".He placed his hands in his pockets."Why dont we go find a mission to do?".

"Sure why not I'm bored." he pauses and looks back into the alley "Carter I'll be back around sometime or another like normal take care" With that he looked at Konda. "lead on" he said evenly.

He looked up and looked toward the night sky to see the moon with its creepy grin."Right".They then began to walk to the DWMA to get a mission.

A flash of black light appeared in front of the two boys. "Hello Gentle men." an image of Death said. "I have been watching you to. You both are nearly ready to graduate from the school. This is you final exam. Disturbances have been occurring outside of the city, I want you to find the source and put an end to it. "

Mystogan looked up startled at Death sudden's contact. Ambitious as always he asked "Where do we need to go?" In his mind he was already thinking of the posibilites.

Konda listned as Death gave them the orders."Yes lord death". He said as he was givin the info.Konda looked toward his partner and chuckled a little."He just said outside the city,it shouldnt take to long to do a patrol."

"Don't chastise him it is a decent question in a sense. It is located in a place known as Kenshin Valley, if either of you need me you know how to reach me i trust." With a dull flash of light grim was gone leaving the boys alone in darkness.

Shielding his eyes from the light Mystogan waited before Death was gone before talking. "We should start on this tomorrow, I'm tired he said looking at Konda."

"Hm? Alright if you say so." he said as he put his hands in his pockets.

emerges from the shadows of the back alley "carter are you here? if so i have a package from you." Carter: why yes i am here, and what is this package you have for me? he walks towards carter with the package beside him. "its from mystagon. he was at the cafe." hands carter the package. Carter: thank you. carter disappears in the darkness of the ally. Light walks out of the alley.

Light follows dormammu searching for the monster. then Leather facefalls from the rooftop and behind us. Leather Face:...-Leather face turns on his blood coated chainsaw- "you sick monster...i will end you" Light shouts causing him to get stunned and lets Dormammu strike him for an opening. dashing right behind dormammu preparing to do a second strike.

Holding out a hand Mystogan hardens shadow until it forms a real scythe which he holds calmly waiting. he would wait and see how they did, if they started losing he would end it with one strike.
