Back Alley in the City

Leather Face swings his chainsaw as he is stunned. Dormammu darts toward his opponent at surprising speed for his height. Since Chase was not here he would have to rely on his sharp fingers. He slashes Leather's sides with his dark sap. Leather quickly swings his chainsaw nearly cutting Dormammu hand off. "he's faster then expected that should slow him down a bit. Be careful Light I still need you alive..."

Light dashes towards Leather Face and jumps over his blind swingingly from Dormammu's slash attack. light then pulses a few light attacks while striking Leather face in the back. Leather face swings his rotating blade and cuts light's cheek causing it to bleed. "arrgh!" Light does a round house kick and sends Leather face to the ground. "Now Dormammu!"

Mystogan tightened his grim what was this thing doing so far into the city.
He decided it was enough. With a flash he appeared before the Kenshin. " What are you doing here?" he questioned.

Dormammu digs his claws into Leather's chest making a X slash. Unfortunately his claws get tangled into Leather's clothes. Dormammu quickly grabs Leather's hand that holds the chainsaw, but Leather counters with a punch and kick. The two blows do damage that releases Dormammu tangled hand. He is pushed back. "Am I this weak or is he that strong." He quickly shakes the earth underneath Leather's feet. Dormammu noticed Mystogan and thought he noticed energy. "I don't think he can talk..."

"A mere underling this one is it seems. Are you okay. " Mystogan watches Leather boredly. "Don't even bother..." However Leather swings the chainsaw. Mystogan catches the blade with his band shadow running over his palm stopping him from getting cut. He raises the scythe up in a death strike.

Light then elbows Leather face in the stomach and Light puts clammy hands covered in sweat over leather face's eyes. Light's eyes turn white and Leather face starts shivering. and his skin starts to boil and burn. Leather face then shouts out of pain saying "what have i done..." Leather face starts to burst and lose a few limbs. light then starts to go back to his usual self but tired from his attack. He jumps back and cues Dormmamu to attack leather face as a combinaton of both his and lights attack to destroy leather face.

"I tell you what you are doing you are not finishing it, his soul is mine." Dormammu slams his fist into Leather's side, breaking his ribs and digging into his chest cavity. As Dormammu reaches the Inhumane thing's heart he rips it out. "My dark sap weakened his side... sufficient three against one is hardly fair..." Dormammu waits to see if Mystogan will finish him eager to see what his skills.

Rolling his eyes Mystogan eyes flashed. He releases Leather and spins the scythe with both hands. With a flash he appears on the other side if leather holding the scythe as if he had just swung. For a second Leather stood standing. He then collapsed in on himself till all that was left of him was hit soul. Mystogan thought to himself he probably had no idea what happened. He had used his shadow movement to accelerate himself, then he struck the re-accelerated. All done so fast, he doubt anyone even saw a blur.

"what the heck was that" Light huffing and puffing. Light could see everything that happened since he was made from light it self. Light was shocked at the very power of mystagon. Light stands up walking toward the soul and myst. "come and get it Dormammu." Light whispers to mystagon in his ear "he is a bit greedy..."

Dormammu did not see it but he did feel it. "Impressive..."Dormammu smiled tossing the heart on the ground. he then saw the soul hovering. He smiled and stood near it. He was cautious to take it so quickly. Dormammu could be patient. "Who will take it? I heard that boy. If Mystogan agrees then I will take it."

"Doramammu if he does agree you know how to...get a soul right?" Light then preforms a demonstration of how to eat the soul. but with air instead. "...and thats how you do it!"

"Eh its all yours. I don't need anymore of those souls" He clenched his hand causing the scythe to fade away. " I need to find a witch soul for myself now." Shrugging to no one " Well that was unexpected, but not very interesting since he was so weak."

"aww if he was weak that means we are weak. after all i was the one that got damaged..." Light then pouts crossin his arms."hey Mystagon why don't you eat Medusa's soul?"

Dormammu called out to the darkness in the soul and it came to him. "Go to my home plane...That fool Strange always meddles into my plans..." The Soul is sucked into Dormammu's mouth. "I feel little difference...a witch? They exist here." Dormammu looks and thinks to himself. (perhaps they have heard of me.) He then walks out the alley oddly thanking them by waving his hand to them. "This place changes me...perhaps most of my evil was left behind..."

"bye Dormammu you were awesome without any special attacks, and Chase is going to wanna hear this when she ever wakes up!" Light shouts at the top of his lungs. "thanks ulq for the help, see you around!" Light then runs out the alley to his house to go rest.

"Medusa.." Mystogan seems so zone out for a min. "No one knows where she is anymore, she vanished." Mystogan looks at Dormammu boredly he didn't know... interesting. "Well I suppose there is nothing more for me to do here." He turns to walk deeper into the alley. I'll be here if I'm needed, wake me up for no reason and I'll eat your soul.

"w-w-what!? you came here though mystagon. how are you going to blame it on me? and if you do eat my soul Death will be very angry with you..." Light then continues to walk to his house.

"He would have been madder if i hadn't come. so scat you. " With that he snapped his fingers drawing the light out blocking Light from view. " Ahh peace and quiet."

After a few hours Mystogan is woken up by carter. "Here" the old man said "this ran into the barrier repeatedly." He hands Mystogan a paper air plan. Mystogan opened the plan and read the note. His eyebrows rising up. He grabbed his stuff quickly and got up " Where are you going" Carter asked. Mysotgan flashed the note and replied " Got a job to do explain when i get back." With that he merged with the shadows and hurtled on his way.

Upon stepping through the rift with the kenshin the rift closed. Mystogan watched the kenshin wander down the street and run smack into the barrier. "Nice job slick. Carter's barrier is still up."

He slammed in the wall and fell on his butt. Sit in the ground, he started rubbing his own nose.

-it huuuuurted...

Faces muttered, complaining at such unnexpected obstacle. Then he turned at Mystogan.

-So, where do we go, Tricky-Sword-san?

He asked curious, like he never got hurt, or most likely forgetting he ever got hurt.

"Carter please drop the barrier." Mystogan said to the air. Out of the shadows a old man stepped, he looked disdainfully at the kenshin and snapped his fingers. The barrier showed in the air fracture lines running through it shattering it. The pieces dissolving before they hit the ground. " The name it Mystogan, and now is when I leave you, you have the tools to purify yourself and regain your sanity. You will either succeed and become sane, or you will fail and die." With that he merged with the shadows and disappeared.

-Bye bye Mystogannnnn~

Etherian waved goodbye at him and then turned his face to the object one more time.

Without thinking too much, he drank from the Grail, and as soon as he did, he felt reality shatter. He started coughing as from the pores of his skin, black liquid runned down, staining the floor and turnin into smoke at the next second, his hair returned to the red it was when human, his eyes became yellow, the black coat turned red... he was now a mix of his human self and his Kenshin self, and dropped to the floor, drooling, without muttering a single word, staring at the emptiness.
When Faces woke up, he regained part of his sanity and was still holding the Holy Grail tightly.

-What... just happened?

Faces asked to himself with a beaten up voice, as he stand up with difficulty.

-Purification, huh? Now... what should i do?

He looked at the Grail.

-I should return this to the owner...

Unconscious of his act, a big grin was drawn on Etherian's face.

-I bet the Flashy-guy knows~

Faces chuckled mischievously, covering his mouth with the hand comicly.
Behind him, the light distortioned, and a familiar figure would appear, a clone of himself.

-You were called.... Mystogan huh?

Etherian muttered, then he looked for his Soul Frequency.

-I might have better luck if i move around~

Faces putted on the old glasses he hold on his pocket and walking down the street with his clone, he whistled an innocent melody.

-Caaaaaaarteeeeeeeeer~

A voice called, it was Etherian. Only steps could be heard on the alley, but then, gradually a figure appared, or better said, reappeared.
Faces was holding the Grial, making it spin on his index finger as he search for Carter.

-Carter~ Where are you~?

He looked on every single spot for the man.

Carter finally appeared after a while, maybe amused by this "excentric" man in red. The old man coughed to call Etherian's attention, who was searching under a trash can.

-Oh!

Faces flipped the trash can and ran to his encounter.

-Hellos Carter-sama~

He handed him the Holy Grial.

-MISSION COMPLETE!

He said, and making videogame sounds and flips he retreated, leaving the poor Carter speechless.
